Inspect
We come out and inspect the property with a structural engineer, so the diagnosis is based on engineering, not guesswork.
Report
You receive a comprehensive report on what is wrong, why it happened and what it means for your home.
Plan and estimates
We prepare remedial plans that fix the cause of the problem and give you a clear cost estimate before any work starts.
Fix
Our team carries out the remedial works professionally, from underpinning and restumping through to waterproofing and finishing trades, under one contract. And after the repair, we can keep maintaining the property so small issues never grow back into big ones.
What's included
Underpinning and grout injection
Traditional underpinning and chemical underpinning (grout injection) to stabilise and re-support failing foundations.
Restumping and re-levelling
Old timber stumps replaced and floors brought back to level across period and post-war homes.
Crack repairs and wall rebuilds
Cracked plaster and masonry repaired properly, and badly damaged walls knocked down and rebuilt where repair is not enough.
Waterproofing and balcony repairs
Failed waterproofing in bathrooms, balconies and decks stripped back, remediated and re-membraned.
Roof and stormwater repairs
Roof leaks, flashings, gutters and stormwater systems repaired so water goes where it should.
Basement and pipe leak repairs
Basement leaks traced and sealed, and damaged pipes repaired, including thermal imaging to find hidden leaks without ripping things apart.
Brick fences and tree roots
Leaning or cracked brick fences repaired or rebuilt, and invasive tree roots removed before they do more damage.
Reflooring
Water-damaged or failed flooring replaced, from subfloor framing through to the finished surface.
Paint and caulking
Repairs finished properly with caulking and paint, so you cannot tell there was ever a problem.
Problems we inspect and fix
A few examples from real inspections: cracked brickwork and plaster from foundation movement, hidden leaks found with thermal imaging, and stormwater problems undermining footings.

Stepped cracking in external brickwork, a classic sign of foundation movement that underpinning or grout injection can stabilise.
Diagonal plaster cracking running from the cornice, traced back to footing movement during inspection.
Delaminating plaster in a period home, documented before repair and repainting.
Thermal imaging used to trace a hidden bathroom leak without pulling up tiles.
Pooling stormwater against a home, a common cause of soil movement and cracking that drainage repairs solve.
Damaged roof framing found during a roof space inspection, assessed by our structural engineer before rebuilding.

Frequently asked questions
What are the signs my home needs underpinning or restumping?
Stepped or diagonal cracks in brickwork and plaster, doors and windows that stick, sloping or bouncy floors and gaps opening between skirtings and floors are the common signs. A structural engineer inspection tells you for certain, and ours is part of the free consultation.
What is the difference between underpinning and grout injection?
Traditional underpinning extends the footing down to stronger soil with concrete. Grout injection, also called chemical underpinning, injects an expanding resin or grout under the footing to fill voids and re-level. The engineer's report recommends the right method for your soil and structure.
How much do remedial works cost?
It depends entirely on the cause and extent of the damage, which is why we inspect first. After the engineer inspection you get a comprehensive report, remedial plans and a written cost estimate, so you know the number before any work starts.
Do I get a written engineer's report?
Yes. Every remedial job starts with a structural engineer inspection and a comprehensive written report covering what is wrong, why it happened, the remedial plan and the cost estimate.
Do you fix small repairs or only major structural work?
Both. We repair everything building wise, from major underpinning and wall rebuilds down to crack repairs, reflooring, caulking and paint. Whatever the size, it gets done professionally and done well.
What happens after the repair is finished?
We maintain it. We offer follow-up checks and ongoing building maintenance after remedial works, so any new movement or wear is picked up early before it becomes another expensive problem.
